Officers were flagged down on Sept. 17 by a woman who wanted to report a strange car was parked in front of her house for a little while, and she said it appeared the occupants were watching her house.

GRAFFITI: Officers were called to a residential address on Sept. 17 to a report of vandalism. The letters “JL” were spray painted on the reporting party’s fence, and several street signs and other fences had been painted with the same style of paint.

SUSPICIOUS CAR: Officers were flagged down on Sept. 17 by a woman who wanted to report a strange car was parked in front of her house for a little while, and she said it appeared the occupants were watching her house. Officers located the suspicious car and pulled it over when one of the occupants threw a coffee cup out of the window. The driver of the car could not produce a driver’s license or insurance, and a records check revealed he was driving with a suspended license and had a criminal history of burglary, and the other occupant had a history of possession of stolen property. Officers noticed strange items in the car, including a pair of binoculars. Both men were cited and released at the scene.
