SIDEWALK DRIVER: Officers were directed Sept. 8 to the intersection of state Route 165 and 112th Street East, where a 16-year-old driver had attempted to make a right turn. Instead, the female drove onto the sidewalk and struck a stop sign. She received an infraction.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT: A call regarding a female attempting to commit suicide had officers responding at 11:45 p.m. Sept. 6 to a Mills Street location. There, they discovered a woman who had intentionally inflicted an injury. She was determined to be a danger to herself and was involuntarily committed to a local hospital for evaluation.

CRIMINAL CITATION: At 9:43 p.m. Sept. 6, officers were dispatched to the vicinity of Couls Avenue and Cedar Street, the scene of a hit-and-run incident involving an intoxicated driver. The man was booked into jail.

DRUNK DRIVER: Officers observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation shortly before 11 p.m. Sept. 5 on Church School in Wilkeson. The driver, a 51-year-old woman from Bonney Lake, was found to be intoxicated. She was processed and issued a criminal citation.

FAMILY ISSUE: An officer was dispatched Sept. 3 to Wilkeson Elementary School to assist with a custodial dispute.

TIRES SLASHED: Police received a call Sept. 3 from a victim who said the driver’s side tires of a vehicle had been slashed during the previous evening. The incident occurred at a state Route 410 location.
