At 11:00 a.m., Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:

·  A motion adopting the 2012 King County Strategic Climate Action Plan (Substitute Motion 2012-0248.2).

 

At 1:30 p.m., Councilmembers will hear public testimony on:

 

The four pieces of legislation that are part of the proposed Eastside Rail Corridor (ECR) agreement:

·   An ordinance approving and authorizing the County Executive to acquire portions of the ERC from the Port of Seattle (Ordinance 2012-0353),

·  An ordinance approving and authorizing the County Executive to enter into a reciprocal coordination and cooperation agreement with Puget Sound Energy (Ordinance 2012-0354),

·   An ordinance approving and authorizing the County Executive to enter into an intergovernmental land transfer agreement with the city of Redmond (Ordinance 2012-0382),

·   A motion establishing the Eastside Rail Corridor as a corridor of regional significance and establishing the Eastside Rail Corridor regional advisory council to initiate a regional planning process (Motion 2012-0452).

Motions regarding 4Culture—King County’s cultural service agency:

·  Acknowledging receipt of a report regarding outreach to unincorporated areas and cities not served by a city arts commission (Motion 2012-0355).

·   Acknowledging receipt of a report regarding workshops conducted by 4Culture held outside of Seattle (Motion 2012-0356).

·  Acknowledging receipt of a letter certifying that 4Culture has displayed on its website its total expenditures of hotel-motel revenue in each council district for 2008-2011 (Motion 2012-0357).
