On Feb. 24 officers responded to a theft from a resident’s boat.

SMASHED GLASS DOOR: Officers were called to a home under construction for malicious damage on Feb. 23. The reporting party told officers the rear glasssliding door was broken, and the object used to break the glass was not found.

STOLEN FOOD: Officers were on scene for an unrelated call when a female exited a nearby business without paying for her merchandise. Officers quicklydetained the female. A search of her purse revealed numerous food items that she admitted she did not pay for. The female had two warrants but other policedepartments were not available to take custody. She was cited and transported to Nisqually jail.

THEFT FROM BOAT: On Feb. 24 officers responded to a theft from a resident’s boat. The reporting party told officers he took the boat, which was wintering at afriend’s house, to be washed when he noticed the stereo, amplifiers, and subwoofers were missing. The boat was covered the entire time while it was not beingused.
