Vehicle prowl on Florence | Enumclaw Police

Police were told at 5:55 a.m. Oct. 21 a vehicle prowl had just occurred at a Florence Street address.

ASSAULT: Police responded at 11 p.m. Oct. 22 to a Monroe Avenue address due to an assault that had just occurred. The victim was evaluated by medical personnel and transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital. The victim did not wish to press charges at the time.

SUSPICIOUS: A citizen contacted police the morning of Oct. 22, reporting there possibly was a body near a trail behind an apartment complex off McHugh Avenue. Officers determined it likely was someone sleeping under a black tarp.

BEING FOLLOWED: A woman called police the evening of Oct. 22, relating that her mother was driving home from Lakewood and was being followed by someone driving a pickup and flashing his lights. Police checked the area around the mother’s apartment and found nothing suspicious.

VEHICLE PROWLS: Police were told at 5:55 a.m. Oct. 21 a vehicle prowl had just occurred at a Florence Street address. Someone had entered an unlocked vehicle, but nothing was taken and no damage was done. The area was searched with no success. At 5:26 that evening, an Edith Avenue resident reported items had been stolen from a vehicle. A backpack and flashlights were missing; most items from the backpack were found along the road and recovered.
