The DOT is now down to counting the hours before the SR 410 White River Bridge between Buckley and Enumclaw closes for one week.

The DOT is now down to counting the hours before the SR 410 White River Bridge between Buckley and Enumclaw closes for one week.

Remember the bridge will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, April 15 to noon on Saturday, April 23 while crews permanently repair the bridge from where it was struck by an over-height vehicle last year.

Our posted detour route will take about 45 minutes, but the drive could get longer and busier during peak times.

SR 410 exit to Sumner closes Saturday morning for traffic signal installation

Heads up if you plan to use SR 410 near Sumner this Saturday morning – the exit to Traffic Avenue in Sumner will have a temporary closure from 6 to 9 a.m. During the closure, drivers will detour via Valley Avenue/State Route162.Once the ramp reopens, crews will continue to flag traffic through the area until around 1 p.m.

The closure and flagging operations will allow crews to replace a permanent traffic signal pole that was damaged in a collision.

I-5 lane reductions coming April 22 and 23

Here’s an early warning for some overnight work Friday, April 22, and Saturday April 23. Our contractor crews close up to four right lanes of southbound I-5 nightly between mileposts 148 and 146. Lane closures will start at 8 p.m.; by 11 p.m. each night up to four lanes may be closed; they can remain closed until 6 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday.

During the overnight lane closures the crews will remove and replace broken concrete panels. The work is part our southbound I-5 Duwamish River to South 320th Street freeway rehabilitation project.
