It’s with deep sadness that Jim Stinson went to Heaven on March 19, 2017. He was a long time Buckley, WA resident. He grew up in Burien, WA and graduated from Highline High School. Jim recently retired from Boeing, where he worked as a machinist for over 38 years. With a great love for music and playing the drums & guitar, Jim was proud to be a part of the local band Favorite Mistake.
He is survived by his wife Betsy, his daughters Julia (Marcus), Deanna (Dan) and Carrie (Robert). Jim adored and doted on his 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Dick & Betty Stinson and his brother Mark Stinson. Jim will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service was held Sat., March 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley, WA. Donations to help the family offset costs can be made to Jim’s GoFundMe Page: https://www.gofundme.com/caue7-we-wear-purple-jims-journey.
