Enumclaw resident Joyce Ross, 88, died March 6, 2014.

She was born March 10, 1925, in Buckley and graduated in 1943 from Buckley High School. She worked at Boeing during World War II and married Robert “Bob” Ross on June 6, 1947. They lived in Carbonado for 65 years where she raised her family. She enjoyed reading and flowers and being with family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by sons Mark Ross and wife Linda of Steilacoom, Wash., and Karl Ross and wife Marsha of Enumclaw; sisters Helen Feldman of Auburn and Elizabeth Brady of Enumclaw; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 22, 2014.

A memorial service is planned for 6 p.m. Friday, March 21, at The Summit, 920 Roosevelt Ave., in Enumclaw.
