Richard William Moeller, age 88, died February 25, 2024. He was born in Seattle, Washington to parents Louie and Clara (Merlovitz) Moeller on June 29, 1935. Dick lived in Enumclaw, Washington and was known to all as a dairyman. First with Jim Van Wieringen and then with his family at Good Hope Dairy. When Good Hope Dairy closed Dick was a self-employed farmer until 1982 when he joined the VanHoof Dairy, where he became great friends with the owner Gordy VanHoof. Dick had a passion for the outdoors, riding his horse, hiking, and fishing. He loved climbing Mt. Peak and taking in the landscape from Mt. Rainier to the White River. Dick was a member of the King County Sheriff’s Posse and rode annually in the Daffodil Parade and enjoyed attending rodeos.
