Kara Rose Erb of Bonney Lake died Oct. 8, 2016.

She was born April 30, 1968, in Seattle. She graduated from Bellarmine High School in Tacoma in 1986 and earned an associate’s degree from Green River Community College. She served as an Orting police officer from 1992-95 before leaving the force to raise her family. She married Chuck Erb on Oct. 23, 2001, in Las Vegas, Nev. She was a huge fan of the Seattle Mariners and Minnesota Vikings who enjoyed fishing and loved her animals.

She is survived by husband Chuck Erb of Bonney Lake; sons Gabriel Erb of Bonney Lake and Brandon Bailey of Buckley; daughter Allisha Erb of Bonney Lake; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service is planned for noon Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley.
