Larry Joseph Lindhardt Emmett of Enumclaw died May 28, 2012, at the age of 75.

He was born Jan. 8, 1937, and lived in the area 32 years. He spent many years with his family enjoying outdoor activities at his Okanogan cabin. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by wife Donna Hixson Emmett; daughters Laura Nicholson, Ronda Andrews and husband Rob and Dawnell Johnson and husband Eric; sons Joe Emmett and wife Heather and Eric Emmett and wife Natalie and Lee Emmett; brothers Roy Emmett, Robert Lindhardt, Sherman Lindhardt and Ross Lindhardt; sisters Charlene Shrewsbury and Carol Carter; and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by daughter Kathy Emmett and sister Joyce Cook.

A graveside service took place Monday, June 4, at Evergreen Memorial Park, Enumclaw.
