Larry was born in Redding California to Lucille Hannoford and Harry Overland.

As he grew older he spent numerous summers on his grandmother’s and uncle’s farm located in Oregon. It was at this time of his life that Larry found his love for the outdoors.

Larry worked his way up and In July of 1995 after 40 years of government service he left as a Supervisory Airway Transportations system specialist.
