Lowell E. Miller

Lowell E. Miller, a resident of Enumclaw for 47 years, died Oct. 18, 2014. He was 88.

He was born Sept. 12, 1926, in Kennewick, Wash. He worked in logging and long-haul trucking and retired from Boeing in 1992. He was a longtime member of the Enumclaw Church of Christ. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, family reunions, card games and spending time with friends and family. But mostly, he enjoyed sharing stories of his travels and life experiences, stories that were embellished with each telling.

He is survived by sisters Barbara Wisdom of Olympia and Beverly Proctor of Long Branch, Wash.; daughter Vicki Waggoner of Kent; son Michael Miller of Des Moines, Wash.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Auburn Eagles, 702 M St. S.E., Auburn, Wash. 98002.
