Marie Louise Michael died Thursday, May 24, 2019, at the age of 96.

She was born Oct. 21, 1922, and was raised in Selleck, Washington, with three siblings. She graduated from Enumclaw High School and later moved to Anchorage, Alaska, where she married Wilbur “Mike” Michael in 1953. In 1957 they returned to Enumclaw where they raised four kids, owned real estate and a successful glass and paint store. She enjoyed dancing, bowling and was an excellent seamstress. In her later years she spent her time playing games, puzzles and making holiday-themed crafts.

She is survived by children Milon, Brion, Stevon and Janeen, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and her siblings.
