Paul Steinman died Dec. 15, 2017, in Auburn, at the age of 84.

He was born March 17, 1933, in Warrenton, Virginia, to Alfred and Faye Steinman. He served in the U.S. Navy, was a merchant seaman, a horse owner and breeder, and a restaurant owner. He loved to walk and in earlier years could be seen walking around town. He liked to travel and for many years went to Mexico in the spring.

He is survived by his wife Marjorie Steinman of Enumclaw; daughter Lori Crossett of Ellensburg, Washington; sister Mary Schultz of Spokane; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
