Surviving him are brother John (Karen) Mitchell, sisters Mary (Chuck) Washer, Ellen (Mark) Sherman, and Carolyn (Greg) Carter. In addition, he is survived by nephews Mitch Carter (Virginia Allred) and Paul Sherman, and nieces Clarissa Carter (Cody Davis, II), Beth (Joey) Manke, and Sarah Sherman. A great nephew, Cody Davis, III, was born in October. He leaves an aunt and cousins in Wisconsin. Rob married Tammy Martell in 2003. They later divorced.

Interment has taken place. A private family celebration of Rob’s life will be held at a later date.
