Former Enumclaw resident Ruth Rayanna Mihalik died June 25, 2012, at the age of 89.

She was born May 22, 1923, in Suffern, N.Y., to Raymond R. and Julia A. Kemmer Bahr. She married Joseph J. Mihalik on July 4, 1944. She was employed by Avon and worked in the jewelry-manufacturing department. Their family lived in New York for many years, lived in Enumclaw for 15 years and recently moved to Renton. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church and St. Barbara’s Catholic Church while living in Enumclaw.

She is survived by her husband Joe Sr. and son Joe Jr., both of Renton. She was preceded in death by brother Raymond C. Bahr.

She was buried at Evergreen Memorial Park in Enumclaw. A memorial service will take place at later date at Eagle Ridge Assisted Living in Renton.
