Enumclaw resident Susan Hilt died Jan. 1, 2014, at the age of 47.
She was born Oct. 11, 1966, in South Amboy, N.J. She loved being a mother, jet skiing, snowmobiling, riding motorcycles and anything outdoors. She and her husband owned and operated Port-Pass Inc., Complete Truck and Trailer Repair and Axle Surgeons, all of Enumclaw.
She is survived by husband Joe Hilt of Enumclaw; daughter Carly Joe Hilt of Enumclaw; mother Bernice Carpenter of Seattle; brother Edward Columbus and wife Arlene of Alabama; and sister Colleen Dempsey and husband Andy of Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her father Edward Columbus and stepfather Dale Carpenter.
A funeral service took place at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5, at Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley.
Burial was at Evergreen Memorial Park in Enumclaw.
