Verna Hall

Buckley resident Verna Hall, 98, died April 26, 2013.

She was born April 6, 1915, in Union, Wash. She graduated from Sumner High School in 1933, attended beauty school in Tacoma and worked in the restaurant industry for many years before retiring to Buckley. She loved fishing, farming, bingo and sports and, most of all, spending time with her two great-granddaughters.

She is survived by son William Hall of Chehalis, Wash.; daughter Pauline Tucker of South Prairie, Wash.; sister Jewell Dunston of Seattle; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren: nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hall, on June 4, 1982, and three sisters.

A memorial service will take place next spring.
