The Bonney Lake girls improved to 5-0-0 in South Puget Sound League 3A soccer play with a 3-0 win over Peninsula Thursday in Purdy.
With the win, the No. 10-ranked team in Class 3A improved to 10-1-1 overall.
Bonney Lake jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first half. Hillary Colbert scored off a Savanna Moorehouse assist in the 25th minute of play and, eight minutes later, Moorehouse scored off a Leslie Cannon assist.
Moorehouse added an insurance goal in the 69th minute as Colbert recorded the assist.
Rendi Johnson recorded the shutout for the Panthers.
Beverly Kobe tallied three goals and Haylie Cannon and Colbert scored two each as the Panthers slammed Lakes 9-2 in SPSL 3A action at Panther Field Oct. 13.
Kobe, a junior, scored all her goals in the second half. Also adding goals were Moorehouse and Jenny Dewitz.
Bonney Lake will travel to Auburn Mountainview Tuesday for a 7 p.m. league game.
