With the first round of the South Puget Sound League 3A state-qualifying tournament complete, the Bonney Lake High girls golf team is sitting in fourth and the boys in sixth.

Both teams were expected to tee off for Round 2 Tuesday at Bremerton’s Gold Mountain Golf Complex. The top finishers will earn a spot at the Class 3A state tournament in May. The next group of finishers will wait until the spring tournament to make the state’s spring cut.

The Lady Panthers brought Megan Charron, Anna Babbitt, Yoselyn Leos, Whitney Wilcox, Desirae Haselwood and Kat Edwards.

Josh Journey, Kyle Campbell, Ryan Kern, Kash Kolterman, Thomas Davidson and Jacob Rash are hitting the fairways for the boys.
