Bonney Lake Soccer: Match versus North Kitsap comes to a draw

The wash was a close call for the Panthers: the visiting team made two goals earlier on at the 13-minute and 62-minute marks. But Bonney Lake prevented a shutout with two 11th hour goals.

Sumner High’s soccer team came to a 2-2 draw against North Kitsap in Friday’s home game.

But it was a close call for the Panthers: the visiting team made its goals early on.

Kitsap’s John Murphy shot a goal at the 13-minute mark, assisted by Brady Sparrow. Matt Morairity shot an unassisted goal at 62 minutes.

It wasn’t until the 73rd minute that Tyler John racked a point for the Panthers with the assistance of Bryant Maxey. Bryant Maxey closed the deal a minute later with another goal assisted by Colton Tracy.
