After suffering an ankle injury, Carson Seitz rounded out EHS’s scoring with a fourth-place finish at 160 pounds.

“It was a good tournament with good competition,” coach Jerry Scheidt said.

The Hornets also competed at the all-South Puget Sound League Girls’ Night Friday at Auburn Mountainview, where Maranda Long, Bailey and Paterson each picked up a win by fall. Seitz also wrestled that evening.

Logann Erksine and Renfrow also picked up regular season matches against Clover Park Jan. 13, both winning by pin.

The Hornets are scheduled to face SPSL 3A wrestlers at Bonney Lake today, Wednesday, and with Franklin Pierce Thursday. Match time for both is 6 p.m.
