Our team had a good start to the 2014 season at Ellensburg this weekend. We were pleased to begin the season and get the first meet jitters out of the way. For some, this week was about improvement and for others it was about their first EVER competitive running experience! Everyone did a great job and special thanks to all the parents that made time to support the team and transport athletes to this competition.

Varsity Boys take 3rd place overall as a team
Varsity Girls take 5th place overall as a team

Sam Engebretsen dropped her time by almost 30 seconds from last year
Madison Bosik lowered her mark by 1 minute, 53 seconds year over year
Bryn Zeman-Witzel shaved 1 minute, 12 seconds off her time from last year
Hunter Storm made a fantastic debut running to second spot on the varsity team
Alexandra Puzon made a great opening effort, running to a time of 17:41

Bradley Seyler earns second place in the JV boys heat I race
Bryce Johnson moves into 2nd spot on the varsity team in his debut appearance
Several of our varsity boys lowered their times from last year between 20 and 30 seconds after a difficult week of training.
