The Bonney Lake Sharpshooters earned a first-place trophy at Hoopfest 2010. It was the third consecutive year the team of four fifth-grade students and coach Anthony John traveled to Spokane to compete in the three-on-three street basketball tournament. In previous years the team placed second in its age group. Spokane Hoopfest is the biggest three-on-three basketball tournament in the world, with 6,700 teams competing across several age divisions.
