Against Peninsula on Thursday, Sumner fell 3-2 to the Seahawks in Purdy.

Alex Landes was blanked in singles action 6-0, 6-0, and Christian Hines lost 6-2, 6-1.

In doubles action, Grant Fulton and Jacob Heuett won in three sets 6-3, 4-6, 6-1, while Hunter Bleha and Ben Landes posted a 6,1, 6-1 win.

On Oct. 5, the Spartans fell 5-0 to Lakes.

Fulton lost 6-2, 6-1 and Heuett fell 6-0, 6-0 in singles action.

Will Mortell and Dylan Russell lost their match 6-2, 6-0, Bleha and Landes was defeated 6-1, 6-0, and Alex Landes and Hines fell 6-0, 6-1.

The Spartans’ next action is the SPSL 3A tournament on Monday.
