Steilacoom forfeited two matches, and Spartans won eight of 12 matches wrestled.

Conner Wade, wrestling at 106 pounds, opened the night with a 6-2 decision win over Adele Teitgen.

Tanner Petcovic, 113 pounds, pinned Titus Choi in the second round at 3 minutes and 1 second.

Travis Filleau, 120 pounds, earned a devastating 12-0 major decision over Jared Marchent.

Hunter Eberhart, 126 pounds, upped the ante with a 16-0 win over Hunter Huillet.

Josiah Schliesman, 132 pounds, was pinned by Jared Stalder in the first round at 1:13.

Wyatt James, 138 pounds, pinned Cedar Ceja in the third round in 4:28.

Jeremy Jackson, 145 pounds, won an 8-6 decision over Luke Shell.

Zach Wooding, 160 pounds, pinned Zach Flynn in 3:07.

AJ Atoigue, 170 pounds, defeated John Santos 16-11.

Kiefer Lund, 182 pounds;  Jusin Myers, 195 pounds; and Jake Harmon, 285 pounds, lost their matches to Steilacoom by one pin and two point decisions, respectively.

Zach Summers, 220 pounds, and Miles Grant, 152 pounds, both won forfeits.

The Spartans played the White River Hornets at White River High School Thursday night.
