Panther earn all-state honorable mention

Bonney Lake’s Karlyn Edwards was named as an honorable mention libero for the Class 3A all-state volleyball team announced recently.

Prep sports reporters and volleyball coaches from state qualifying teams were asked for their votes. To be considered, players had to be all-league selections.

Murray picked for all-state honorable mention

Alex Murray of Sumner was named as an honorable mention defender on the Class 3A all-state girls soccer team voted on by sports writers from across the state.

Murray helped the Spartans reach the state tournament before losing in the first round.
