Sumner’s volleyball team defeated Franklin Pierce 3-1 Monday night.

Match scores were 25-17, 25-21, 23-25, and 25-18.

Kaetlyn Brown scored 11 kills. Hannah Fitzpatrick made 12 digs and sent six aces uncontested into Franklin Pierce territory. Kendall Jamison made 21 digs and shot five aces.

Brittany Smith assisted 24 times.

Sumner plays White River High School tonight, Wednesday, at 7:15 p.m. in the Sumner High School gym.
