The Sumner boys basketball team more than doubled the Panthers trouble Wednesday night, after outscoring the Bonney Lakers 62-30 on their own court.

The Sumner boys basketball team more than doubled the Panthers trouble Wednesday night, after outscoring the Bonney Lakers 62-30 on their own court.

The Spartans took the upper hand every quarter, going 16-5, 14-5, 16-8 and 16-12.

Keenan Jackson was the star of the night, racking up 13 points total.

Enumclaw High’s lacrosse team improved to 11-3 overall with a Thursday night victory over the visiting Sumner Spartans. The nonleague contest saw the Hornets jump on top early and coast to a 17-10 win. Success is nothing new to the the Enumclaw crew that captured a Class 2A/1A state title a season ago.
