Immunization survey shows Washington kids are better protected | Department of Health

Immunization rates of toddlers in Washington are increasing, and meeting state and national public health goals. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, this year’s annual National Immunization Survey shows Washington is better than the national average for most childhood vaccines.

Deadline to register to vote online Monday | Secretary of State

Remember, Monday, Oct. 10, is the deadline for online and mail-in voter registration ahead of the General Election. Secretary Wyman and the state Elections Director Lori Augino said Tuesday that county election departments will also honor mail-in applications with an Oct. 11 postmark.

Student arrested for “clown” threats at Rogers High School | Pierce County Sheriff’s Department

Yesterday morning Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 17 year old male junior at Rogers High School for a series of clown-related threats that resulted in the school being placed into a modified lockdown during lunch yesterday. The suspect is being booked into Remann Hall on three counts of Felony Harassment and one count of False Reporting.
