    Yesterday morning Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 17 year old male junior at Rogers High School for a series of clown-related threats that resulted in the school being placed into a modified lockdown during lunch yesterday. The suspect is being booked into Remann Hall on three counts of Felony Harassment and one count of False Reporting.

But being in the new 4A league doesn’t seem to be slowing them down, as the Spartans are toting an undefeated 8-0 league record after two victories over Puyallup and Curtis high schools.

    Yesterday the Pierce County Prosecutor’s Elder Abuse Unit accepted guilty pleas from Jessica Sellers, 37, for eight counts of theft from a vulnerable adult. Sellers stole more than $82,000.00 from her husband’s elderly grandfather who has dementia.
