More than 200 runners showed up at the Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce's second-annual Rainier Run 5K last Saturday, and even more just stuck around for the block party, which featured Renaissance Fair characters, food trucks, a beer garden, and more. Pictured breaking away from the group in the Kiddie Dash before the big race is Sienn Carvantes, who also placed second in her age group in the 5K; and Sizzle the Clown putting the finishing touches on a unicorn for Mila Wright. … these eggs go fast, so really take flight. Expert Easter egg hunters descended onto the baseball fields at Enumclaw’s Boise Creek Park last Saturday for the annual Babbitt Rabbitt hunt, which started at 10 a.m. sharp — and was more-or-less over four minutes later. Pictured first out of the gate is Maevé Harrison; finding a calm spot to grab her eggs is Zuri Jacobs; and finally, Luna Gonzalez tries to snatch an egg from another hunter.
