About a hundred people gathered in SR 164 outside Garden House, a group home for high-level sex offenders, last Friday to protest and gain support to pressure the state to move sole resident Stevan Knapp. After waving at passing cars, the group eventually moved to march in front of the house off 188th Avenue. Many neighbors and Enumclaw community members have expressed outrage that Knapp was moved into the house with little to no communication from the government, and feel no amount of security will keep local children safe.
