EHS baseball takes home district championship

Enumclaw lacrosse also continues to dominate the field.

The Enumclaw High boys soccer team ended its regular season Friday night by hosting Clover Park. EHS used a pair of goals by Landon Breidenbach to hold a 2-1 lead into the game’s final stages. EHS Baseball headed into state with No. 1 seed, WRHS No. 10

The Enumclaw Hornets are facing off against Olympic High tonight, May 7.

Enumclaw High’s lacrosse team improved to 11-3 overall with a Thursday night victory over the visiting Sumner Spartans. The nonleague contest saw the Hornets jump on top early and coast to a 17-10 win. Success is nothing new to the the Enumclaw crew that captured a Class 2A/1A state title a season ago. The White River High girls had little trouble defeating the visiting Washington Patriots the afternoon of April 3. Playing on their home diamond, the Hornets scored early and often and eventually rolled to a 19-4 victory over their South Puget Sound League 2A foes.
