Officers responded to the report of a juvenile runaway around 1:30 a.m. The subject’s parents told officers they went into her room and saw a pillow had been placed under her blanket to make it look like she was there.
Officers while monitoring traffic on SR 410, they observed a vehicle driving westbound. After a routine records check, officers learned the registered owner has a suspended license. Officers pulled the vehicle over and made contact with the driver. She was not the registered owner and said she was in the process of purchasing the vehicle.

Officers observed two males enter a state Route 410 grocery store around 12:30 a.m. It appeared to officers the two were on a beer run. As a getaway car sat outside, the two returned after being in the store for roughly 1 minute.
Officers responded to the report of domestic violence. Once on scene, the reporting party told officers he was at his ex-girlfriend’s house to do some work and pick up their child for the night. The two got into an argument over the cost of repairs and the girlfriend then told him he could not take their daughter.
Reports are in of a single vehicle crash into a pole on eastbound state Route 410 near Traffic Ave. Lanes are blocked and East Pierce Fire and Rescue are on the scene.
The Sound Transit Board is holding a Capital Committee meeting on Thursday, August 14 from 1:30 to 4 p.m.

Officers responded to a residence regarding a dispute between neighbors over property lines. The reporting party said he believed his neighbor had spray painted his driveway because they have been fighting over where the property line splits the two residences.
Officers responded to a store for a shoplifting in progress. Once officers arrived, they contacted the store's protection specialist outside the store and he told them he had been watching two suspects. The reporting party watched one conceal cosmetics into her purse.
