THREE-CAR CRASH: At 4:35 p.m. July 30, police responded to a three-vehicle collision on state Route 410. It was determined an 18-year-old from University Place had been distracted and struck a vehicle in the rear, damaging the auto and pushing it into a third vehicle. The two vehicles had been slowing due to traffic stopped in the roadway. The 18-year-old was issued infractions for following too close and failing to provide proof of insurance.

STATION DISTURBANCE: A man created a disturbance in the police station lobby shortly before midnight July 23 by being aggressive, making threats and using profanity. The man departed but was found by an officer, who provided counseling about the inappropriate behavior.
VEHICLE RECOVERED: An officer on patrol the morning of July 21 spotted an unoccupied vehicle parked at 262nd Avenue East and 96th Street East. It was determined the vehicle had been reported stolen a day earlier in Enumclaw. The owner was contacted and arrived to take possession. It was reported there was no damage done and nothing missing from the automobile.
