Officers were dispatched on Dec. 24 to a hit and run report. Officers located an abandoned car a short distance away from a Century Link junction box.

HEAD WOUND, HIT AND RUN: Officers were dispatched on Dec. 24 to a hit and run report. Officers located an abandoned car a short distance away from a Century Link junction box. The car was impounded after officers ran a check for the owner. Officers contacted the owner of the car and noticed a fresh head wound on him. The man told officers he fell, thus the head wound. He told officers he thinks he blacked out from the wound while driving. The man was issued a citation for hit and run.

THREATENED WITH A GUN: Officers were called to investigate an intimidation with a weapon report on Dec. 24. The reporting party, who worked for a delivery company and was driving a U-Haul, dropped off a package at a residential address. The male resident came out of the house and started yelling at her. When she went to go retrieve the package she say a gun in the male’s hand and he threatened to shoot her. Officers contacted the man, who said he was afraid of his family being robbed again. Officers retrieved the gun and discovered that while it was loaded, there was no bullet in the chamber. The case was forwarded to the Pierce County Felony Prosecutor with the charge of assault in the second degree.
