A community baby shower is being planned, aimed to benefit anyone in need of supplies, clothes or furniture. The event will begin at 10 a.m. June 4 at Mount Rainier Christian Center, 43081 244th Ave. S.E. in Enumclaw.

Invited are those currently pregnant or with children up to 3 years of age. During the shower, items like clothing, furniture, formula, toys and diapers will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Organizers are accepting donations, asking that items be gently used. They also are accepting monetary gifts.
