Volunteers needed to clean up trash left by target shooters and illegal dumping on Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest on the state Route 410 corridor in the Wilkeson, Carbonado and Greenwater areas. Volunteers from environmental groups and National Rifle Association or Forest Service employees are encouraged to meet at the south parking lot of the Enumclaw fairgrounds, 45600 284th Ave. S.E., at 8 a.m. July 16. Crews can expect to return around 3 p.m. If interested in participating, call Forest Service Law Enforcement Officer Ian Canaan at 206-510-6496. Participants should bring clean-up supplies such as gloves, plastic bags and rakes. They should also bring water and food to last throughout the day.
