David Harold Olson died June 13, 2017.

He was born Dec. 26, 1926, in Spokane, Wash., to the late David and Sylvia Olson. He grew up in Spokane, graduated from Lewis and Clark High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy with his cousin Ross Gibson during the latter years of World War II. He married Margaret on Aug. 20, 1949, in Seattle. He attended the University of Washington and studied business. The family moved to Lake City and established B-Boys Auto Supply. After semi-retiring and selling the business, he and his wife moved to Enumclaw where they managed a senior mobile home park for many years. They were world travelers, especially in their younger years. Both were pilots and survivors of a plane crash in Mexico.

He is survived by daughters Nancy Burger (Roger Simmons) and Diane Conover (Richard); son David Olson (Sandy); four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret.

A memorial service is planned for 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at Hollyhills Clubhouse, 19200 Hollyhills Dr. N.E., Bothell, Wash. Remembrances are suggested to www.arthritis.org.
