Buckley resident Izma Ruth Spurrier, 82, died Nov. 22, 2011.

She was born Dec. 11, 1928, in Winfred, S.D., to Dick and Stella (McKittrick) Zwart. She enjoyed traveling, going to the casino, spending time with friends at the senior center and being with her family.

She is survived by her children Cynthia Owens and husband Doug of Cinebar, Wash., Cathy Frohs and husband John of Bonney Lake and Glen Burrell and wife Rita ofIssaquah; sister Janis Goeghegan and husband Bill; sister Avis Heyduk; brother Dennis Zwart and wife Theresa; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by brothers Benny Zwart and Jack Zwart and grandsons K.C. and Joshua.

A graveside service is planned for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, at Buckley City Cemetery.
