Jennie Dee Smith

Jennie Dee Smith, 85, died Oct. 8, 2016, at her home in Enumclaw.

She was born Feb. 6, 1931, in Seattle to Daniel and Juliet (Cruce) Bunker. She graduated from Auburn High School in 1948. She enjoyed the outdoors, snowmobiles, motorcycles and rockhounding. She and her husband made many trips to Nevada looking for opals. She made baby blankets and donated them to families who needed them. Jennie loved her dogs Smithy and Cinnamon.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Dale Smith; daughter Lauren Allen; son Michael McLees; stepson Jerry Smith; stepdaughter Lisa McCune; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Danny Tillman in 1991 and brothers Bob Bunker and Richard Crevis.

Services will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at Calvary Community Church in Sumner.
