Enumclaw resident Lester Lee Lahr died July 6, 2019, at his home. He was 70.

He was born March 12, 1949, in Fort Riley, Kansas, to Virginia Marie (Wimer) and George Bigler Lahr. He was a mechanic who loved to ride motorcycles and mow the lawn. He liked a tipple, to tell stories and shoot the breeze.

He is survived by his wife Mary; sons Eric Lee Lahr of Amarillo, Texas, and Lester Lahr Jr. of Hawaii; brothers Ed Lahr of Missouri, Roy Lahr of Spokane, Washington, and Mitch Lahr of Missouri; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his daughter Michelle Lahr, brother Jerry Lahr and sister Lois Smart.
