Richard Eller

Enumclaw resident Richard C. “Rick” Eller, 60, died Nov. 20, 2011, in Auburn. He was born Jan. 13, 1951, in Great Falls, Mont., to Alvin Clair and Louise JoAnn (Hensley) Eller. He and his family moved to Maple Valley during his high school years. He met and married Sharon Chambers and they had two children, Shar and Tim. He worked at Boeing for 37 years as a machinist. He was involved in car racing and enjoyed hunting and fishing. On June 9, 2001, he married JoAnn in Packwood, Wash. They liked to travel and visited many states in their motor home. They raised their grandson Kaeleb Nichols from the time he was 8 years old.

He is survived by wife Jo Eller; sons Tim Eller and wife Michelle of Pacific and Kristopher Johnson and fiancé Amy Birka of Packwood, Wash.; daughters Shar Eller and fiancé Jon Kettells of Enumclaw and Kymberly Johnson-Westhoff and husband Steve of Phoenix; brothers Ron Eller and wife Myrna of Maple Valley and David Eller of Chehalis, Wash.; sisters Teri Williams and husband Kevin of Tacoma, Debbie Johnson and husband Kirby of Renton, Patty Bostwick of Tacoma, Brenda Eller Garland of Federal Way and Tina Eller Petit of Edgewood; sister-in-law Elaine Able of Enumclaw; and 11 grandchildren.

Services took place Saturday, Nov. 22, at Edline-Yahn and Covington Funeral Chapel in Kent.
