Buckley resident Thomas L. Ratliff, 75, died Sept. 17, 2019, in Puyallup.

He was born Nov. 4, 1943, in Auburn, Washington, to parents Simpson and Beula Ratliff. In the summer of 1963, he married Hazel Brown. He was a man who worked hard to provide for his family, working as a logger, truck driver and gunsmith. In his free time, he was a man of the outdoors but most important were his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Hazel, of Buckley; sons Bill Ratliff (Michelle) and Russell Ratliff, both of Buckley; sisters Lucille O’Dell and Lois Horn, both of Oklahoma, and Barbara Thompson of Puyallup; two grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
