The Sunset Bowl pitting Panthers against Spartans will take place tonight at 7 p.m.

Bonney Lake’s and Sumner’s football teams each have one game under their belts, and each team has displayed different strengths. Factor in both teams’ demonstrated ability to score consistently across the quarters, and it looks like both sides will be in a hectic scramble to take and keep a dominant position.

Sumner Food Bank will be on-hand at Sunset Chev Stadium to collect non-perishable foods.

There will be a special announcement regarding the stadium at the game, Sumner School District spokesperson Ann Cook said.
