Bonney Lake’s boys soccer team was defeated 3-1 by Issaquah Thursday evening in nonleague play.

It was the Panther’s fourth game since the regular season began, and their first loss.

The Panthers began with the advantage in the first half, after Tyler John scored an unassisted goal at the 13-minute mark.

However, Issaquah picked up the second half with Cooper Fry shooting a goal at 50 minutes, Paul Hegedus at 65 minutes, and Dyllon Nguyen at 72 minutes.

Bonney Lake soccer is now 3-1-0 overall. The team’s South Puget Sound League 3A conference season begins April 1 with a home game against Auburn Mountainview.

The Panthers played Redmond High School away Friday evening.
