Win streak broken in encounter against Gators | Bonney Lake High Soccer

The loss drops Bonney Lake's overall record to 5-3-3 and to 2-2-2 in the SPSL 3A.

After compiling a streak of for games without a loss, the Panther soccer team was unable to keep its winning ways going Wednesday night with a 2-1 loss to the Decatur Gators in a league match at Bonney Lake High School

The teams battled to a nil-nil tie at halftime, but Decatur got on the board in the 61st minute to take a 1-0 lead.

The Panthers responded in the 74th minute on a goal by Brody Fitzsimmons, off an assist by Zach Jones.

But Decatur took the lead for good just minutes later with an unassisted goal in the 79th minute.

The loss drops Bonney Lake’s overall record to 5-3-3 and to 2-2-2 in the SPSL 3A.

The team’s next scheduled game is Monday at Auburn Mountainview.
