Doubles play saw William Mortell and Dylan Russell beat Simon Gregg-Nammy Tran, 3-6, 7-5, 6-4. Kevin Ho and Jeremy Marsh bested Ben Landes and Alex Landes 6-3, 6-2 and Jimmy Le and Nick Mesq, beat Christian Hines and Hunter Bleha 6-2, 2-6, 7-6 (7-3).

“Overall, effort and focus was much improved from our first two matches. Very impressed with both our singles players who went out and beat good opponents. Since we’re such a young team I am really looking for improvement from match to match, which is what we got yesterday. Will and Dylan especially stepped up. They had lost the first set and then were losing the 2nd set 4-2 before coming back to win what turned out to be the deciding match for the team. Hunter and Christian also played and lost a very tough match at number 3 doubles,” coach Chris Heacox stated.
